Features of agri-insurance

In Ukraine, farmers are increasingly using new high-tech crop growing technologies. At the same time, due to increased financial costs for doing business, the degree of risk of doing this type of business increases. In countries with a high level of technological culture in the agrarian sector, 80-90% of agricultural land is subject to insurance. We insure about 5-8%. But there are farms that are guaranteed to predict their financial result, precisely using agri-insurance, despite the fact that Ukraine is in the zone of "risk" agriculture. Moreover, both winter crops and spring are insured, since with a periodicity of 8-10 years zonal territory of Ukraine either pours, or dries or freezes.

Vegetables are also increasingly paying attention to agri-insurance, as with the current state of unpredictability of weather conditions, it is difficult to predict the financial sustainability of the economy.
